So This Is Love is a weekly podcast hosted by Aaron & Leslie Galvan. Every week, we will be reading from a journal Leslie kept while we were dating. If you’re single, newlywed, even if you’ve been married for years – there is something for everybody.
We hope to inspire people who aren’t married, and to encourage married people to enjoy each other through open communication and laughter.
This week we talk about our upcoming vacation to Belize, and how the anticipation of vacation is often as exciting as the vacation itself…for people who aren’t Leslie.
This we’re looking forward to everything that’s coming up real soon: the Celebrate Recovery Freedom Celebration (21 years!), the IDT7 CrossFit competition, and Belize! We talk about how Aaron is getting ready for it, and Leslie gets a little into how she’s been trying to improve our relationship in the last few weeks.
Fun Fact: We thought Leslie’s being soft last week was because she was so tired; but come to find out the mic was on the wrong setting. We’ll make sure it’s fixed next week!
This week we talk about our car’s A/C dying (which is a big deal in our almost 100 degree weather), and the odyssey that ended up being to get it fixed. Leslie calls Aaron a papalero, which he probably was being, and she complains about how much noise he’s making on the podcast.
This week we talk about how Leslie stabbed Aaron in the back (a deep cut) by going out to eat without him – how dare she?!? – and the fallout of her actions. We’re also joined by some impromptu guests!
This week we talk about an emotional situation sparked by the words “Que Milagro,” which means “What a miracle….” – a comment from Leslie to Aaron as she walked in the door earlier this week.
This week we’re getting ready for a friend’s birthday party, and we’re throwing her a “Triple Quince!” (Because 15 x 3 = 45). Find out what a Quinceñera is and what we’re planning for her.
This week we chat about how HOT it is where we live (Aaron said the heat was “offensive” on Sunday). Leslie is feeling a little better in the coughing department. And we had a parking lot date. Fun!
This week we chat about the Royal Wedding (thankfully we don’t talk about it too long). Aaron mentions his deep and abiding desire to try clotted cream, and being able to play Dungeons & Dragons again. We also talk about having a better answer for the question, “How did you know when you were in love?”
